What option should I choose to sell my SRECs?
The default and most popular way to get paid for your SRECs is to sell them on the spot market. At signup, all sellers at RECmint agree to sell their SRECs in this basic way. As you mint SRECs, we'll buy and sell them on your behalf at the going market price. If you're concerned about the possibility of the market price going down, liquidity drying up, or unpredictability, you should consider the Locked-Rate option, where every SREC you make will be paid at the fixed price per REC. Though you may give up some upside choosing Locked-Rate, there's a chance you'll come out ahead of those who chose the market option. The upfront option is the least amount per SREC, but you get all the money at once in a lump sum. The upfront option is not for those planning to move, as you'd be liable to return a portion of the upfront payment upon transferring ownership of your system to another.
