Yes, You Can Do SRECs and Net Metering at the Same Time
Net Metering does not interfere with eligibility for SRECs
Can I still do SRECs if I'm doing net metering?
Absolutely, you can do net metering and make SRECs at the same time. They don't conflict. SRECs are not the same as energy, they represent the "renewable" attribute of the energy your system produces in absolute terms. Bucketing SRECs and energy together creates confusion because it can seem like you're double-dipping on receiving credit for excess energy and these RECs. The excess energy you sell back to the grid (or are credited for) is "undifferentiated energy". It's not valued differently because of its renewable attribute. You cash-in on the "renewableness" of your energy produced when you mint and sell your SRECs.
